The Tiffany & Co. x CFDA Jewelry Designer Award Is Back
The partners have announced the second cycle of the program, which has expanded to include a $25,000 student scholarship.

The program, a collaboration between Tiffany & Co. and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), provides selected applicants with a multi-week mentorship and immersive learning experience centered on craft and material exploration at Tiffany & Co. in New York City.
Finalists will participate in a design challenge, and each will produce a collection of three to five pieces.
The program will culminate in the group presenting their collections to the selection committee at an award ceremony held at Tiffany & Co.’s Fifth Avenue flagship, The Landmark.
The committee will then evaluate the creations and choose the winner, who will be awarded a $50,000 grant and a one-year fellowship on the Tiffany Design team.
The 2026-2027 selection committee includes:
Jameel Mohammed, jewelry designer and inaugural Tiffany & Co. x CFDA Award recipient;
Rajni Jacques, fashion creative director and global brand strategist;
Nathalie Verdeille, senior vice president and chief artistic officer at Tiffany & Co.;
Gabrielle Union, actress, producer, and bestselling author;
Bethann Hardison, CFDA board member and advocate;
Frank Everett, vice chairman of jewelry at Sotheby’s;
Karla Martinez de Salas, head of editorial content at Vogue Mexico & Latin America;
Andrew Bolton, curator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art; and
writer Lynn Yaeger.

The award was developed from the belief that the most meaningful jewelry is born at “the intersection of skilled making, original vision, and a reverence for the traditions that came before,” a sentiment Tiffany and Co. said comes from its 200-year legacy of turning precious materials into objects of enduring beauty through an unwavering devotion to craft.
This year’s cycle also includes the launch of a new scholarship.
The Tiffany x CFDA Jewelry Design Scholar Award will provide an early-career jewelry design student with a $25,000 scholarship and a summer internship.
This award expands the program’s reach from emerging designers to students just beginning their creative journeys, the partners said, deepening their investment in the full arc of a designer’s career.
The scholarship was established in partnership with the CFDA Scholarship Fund, which has supported more than 400 student designers.

More information about the Tiffany x CFDA Jewelry Design Scholar Award will be available on the CFDA website on May 14.
Applications for the 2026 Tiffany & Co. x CFDA Jewelry Designer Award program are available here, now through June 1.
The program is open to individuals who are legal residents of the United States and the District of Columbia, are 18 years of age or older, and are eligible to work in the U.S., according to the website.
Participants will be announced in the fall, and the award recipient will be announced in early 2027.
