Messika Names Former Omega Exec as New President, CEO of Americas
Arnaud Michon, the former Omega USA President, will now lead Messika’s Americas region during its international development.

Michon’s appointment as leader of the Parisian jeweler’s Americas region marks a new chapter for Messika as it aims to make the region a central pillar of its global development, said the company.
In his new role, he will lead Messika’s expansion across the region, strengthening its organization and distribution, developing its retail footprint, and further establishing the jeweler as a leader of contemporary high jewelry.
“I have known Arnaud for several years, and it has always felt natural to me that our paths would one day lead us to work together,” said Jean-Baptiste Sassine, CEO of Messika.
“Beyond his outstanding experience, Arnaud has exactly the right mindset to thrive at Messika, develop our teams, and further strengthen the maison’s presence in the Americas. I wish him every success and am confident that we will accomplish great things together.”
Michon succeeds Messika’s interim president and CEO of the Americas Béatrice de Quervain Blanchard, who took over after Alain Bernard left last year.
Previously, Michon was with Swatch Group for more than 12 years, including nine years in the United States, where he became a leading executive in the watch sector.
In 2017, he became president of Omega USA, where he transformed the brand’s American business by strengthening its positioning, desirability, and retail presence while delivering commercial growth, said Messika.
While with Omega, he played a pivotal role in elevating its image and luxury positioning in the U.S. by reshaping its distribution and retail strategy and developing a network of directly operated boutiques and franchise partners.
Michon’s responsibilities also expanded across Swatch Group’s activities in the U.S., providing extensive experience in luxury brand management, retail, distribution, and complex operations of the market.
Michon also brings more than a decade of experience in the jewelry and high jewelry sectors after spending nine years at Cartier and three years at Chaumet.
While with Cartier and Chaumet, he built a deep understanding of the jewelry business, its clientele, retail environment, and the styles of leading jewelers.
In his new role with Messika, Michon brings his combination of jewelry, watchmaking, retail, and brand-building experience to the business at a pivotal moment in its international development, it said.
