Paris—Kering’s newly created jewelry division has undergone an executive shakeup.

Sabina Belli, who joined Kering in 2015 as CEO of Pomellato Group, has been named president of Kering Italia, effective Sept. 15.

Italy is especially important to the luxury giant, with more than one-quarter of its workforce based in the country.

The region is also home to several of Kering’s brands, including Gucci, Bottega Veneta, Brioni, Pomellato, DoDo, Ginori 1735, and Kering Eyewear, as well as its corporate offices, product development centers, manufacturing facilities, and strategic logistics hubs.

“Sabina brings a deep understanding of the Italian luxury ecosystem and a strong ability to build partnerships across business, education, and public institutions,” said Kering CEO Luca de Meo.

“Together with our teams, she will strengthen Kering’s long-term commitment to Italy and help further amplify the country's influence on the global luxury industry.”

In her new role, Belli will strengthen the company’s presence in Italy, supporting partnerships between the private and public sectors to bolster the country’s luxury manufacturing ecosystem, said Kering.

She will continue to oversee Kering Accademia per le Eccellenze, the company’s initiative to preserve and promote Italian craftsmanship and support emerging manufacturing talent.

Belli is known for her advocacy for inclusion and women’s empowerment, founding Pomellato for Women in 2017, a global platform promoting gender equality and amplifying women’s voices.

She also serves on the board of directors of the Kering Foundation and is vice president of the jewelry sector and manufacturing talents at Altagamma, an association of Italian luxury brands.

Kering has named luxury executive Charlotte Fournet as the new CEO of Pomellato.

Fournet has more than 14 years of experience in luxury merchandising and product strategy.

She joined Saint Laurent in 2014 before moving to Gucci in 2019 and then Bottega Veneta in 2020, holding various merchandising roles.

Most recently, she served as collection merchandising director, overseeing Bottega Veneta's merchandising strategy across all product categories.

In her new role, she will lead the next phase of the brand’s development, enhancing store productivity and expanding its distribution.

Kering has also named a new CEO for DoDo, appointing Krizia Cucurachi to lead the jewelry brand.

She succeeds Teejana Beenessreesingh, who stepped down in April after less than a year in the role.

Cucurachi is a brand and product executive with more than 16 years of international experience working with jewelry and consumer brands.

She joined DoDo in 2024 as global product and brand director, overseeing product, image, communication, events, visual merchandising, and media activities.

Prior to joining DoDo, she was with Swarovski for more than a decade, holding several senior leadership positions.

In her new role, Cucurachi will oversee DoDo’s strategic development, solidify its position in gifting jewelry, and expand from Italy into select international markets.

“Jewelry is a strategic growth pillar for Kering. Pomellato and DoDo are two highly distinctive houses with strong identities and tremendous potential,” said Jean-Marc Duplaix, group chief operating officer of Kering and CEO of Kering Jewelry.

The appointments of Fournet and Cucurachi reflect Kering’s commitment to fostering the next generation of leaders from within its organization, he said.

“Charlotte's extensive and successful experience across several of Kering's houses and Krizia's strong track record in brand building and transformation make them ideally positioned to lead the next phase of growth for Pomellato and DoDo, and contribute to the ambition of Kering Jewelry."

Kering announced the creation of Kering Jewelry in March. The new entity includes jewelry brands Boucheron, Pomellato, Dodo, and Qeelin, as well the recently-acquired Raselli Franco Group.

While Kering has been struggling in recent quarters, weighed down by star brand Gucci, its jewelry brands have been a consistent bright spot on its balance sheet, posting double-digit growth in the first half of its fiscal year.
