Catbird Expands to Chicago

Catbird has opened its first Chicago store.
Chicago—Brooklyn-based demi-fine jewelry brand Catbird is opening its first location in Chicago.
The store will be located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood at 904 W Armitage Ave.
The 1,272-square-foot store is Catbird’s ninth storefront and its first location in the Midwest, though it has previously hosted pop-ups in the area.

The new store features the jewelry brand’s signature black and white floors.
The new store is housed in a brick building and features coral and pale blue interiors along with Catbird’s signature black and white floors, as well as a Murano glass chandelier crafted in Belgium.
The brand, which started as a small store in the Williamsburg neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York, said Lincoln Park’s retail corridors evoke its Brooklyn roots and provides a “neighborhood warmth.”
Catbird said it plans to open two more new stores on the East Coast this year as well.
