Michael M Opens First Store
Beverly Hills was chosen as the location for the brand’s first store, designed as a “private residence for modern monarchs.”

The 2,000 square-foot store is at 216 N. Canon Drive in Beverly Hills, California.
“I’ve always dreamed of opening a flagship in Beverly Hills,” said Peter Meksian, founder and CEO of Michael M, on why the city was chosen for the brand’s first store.
“It’s where the most iconic luxury brands live and being part of that conversation means something. But more importantly, I wanted to create a true home for our brand, a space that feels personal, intentional, and unmistakably powerful.”
The concept of the flagship’s design was to become “a private residence for modern monarchs,” the brand said.
The single-level space is laid out like a home, rather than a retail store. Its décor is reminiscent of the 1960s, with a futuristic twist.
“I didn’t want this to feel like a traditional store; I wanted it to feel like you’re stepping into our world,” Meksian said.
“When you walk in, you sit down, have a drink, have a real conversation, and even watch your diamond being set. It’s about slowing down and truly experiencing the pieces the way they’re meant to be experienced.”
Guests enter the store through a foyer with a library before walking through the living and dining spaces intended for conversation, celebration, and decision.
A sculptural bar anchors the room with a concealed VIP suite behind it that overlooks the in-store atelier.
From the VIP suite, clients can look into the bench jeweler space as the master jewelers work on custom pieces, stone setting, and service, including hand-setting client’s diamonds on-site and working with the brand’s in-house alloys, Michael M said.
Each element speaks to the flagship’s overarching design goal of blurring the lines between retail and feeling at home.
It is meant to be an experience that is immersive, intimate, majestic, and impossible to forget, the brand said.
The floors are European white oak, and the store also features Rosso Levanto (Italian) marble and brushed brass accents.
“Everything is refined, yet bold. We’re drawn to subtle and sophisticated moments, as well as statements that are bold and commanding,” Meksian said.
The flagship is home to Michael M’s full fine jewelry, bridal, and high jewelry collections.
The jewelry is displayed in pill-shaped showcases finished with high-gloss lacquered dark cherry and merlot tones.
Some high jewelry is displayed in the main space while select pieces are showcased in the VIP suite for seated viewing.
Some pieces of the brand’s high jewelry will be exclusive to store.
“These pieces reflect the spirit of Beverly Hills. Bold, unapologetic, and impossible to forget,” said Michael M.
The opening of the Beverly Hills flagship will not take away from Michael M’s partnerships with retailers but rather deepen those relationships, the brand said.
The flagship will offer a space to host VIP collectors and private events, as well as providing training to strengthen craftsmanship, connection, and long-term partnership across the brand’s network, it said.
Michael M said it has plans to open additional stores in key global markets that align with its clientele.
This includes expanding into New York City, Miami, and Dallas.
