Foundrae Heads to Aspen for Latest Store Opening
The new store in Aspen, Colorado, takes inspiration from a stately library for its intimate yet elevated interior design.

The store is located at 520 E. Hyman Avenue.
The brand, known for its use of storytelling, chose Aspen as its latest venture because of the town’s creative and cultural setting.
With an intimate yet elevated feel, the store’s interior design looked to a stately library and interpreted it through a modern lens.
Green marble flooring inlaid with brass and a marquetry sunburst greets guests as they enter, paired with fresh green walls and a lacquered ceiling throughout.
As one walks along the heritage oak flooring, they can see hand-blown sconces imprinted with Foundrae’s symbols and jewel-toned velvet seating.
The jewels are displayed on leather-bound tomes and sculptural burl wood cabinets while a marble counter displays candlesticks, books, and objets d’art.
Mohair and embossed leather walls add warmth and depth to the space.
Foundrae invites discovery with a hidden mouse house displaying a miniature home fit for a mouse tucked away in the store. There is also a jeweler’s studio that is visible to guests.
Above the doorway is Aspen’s seal of crossed arrows featuring three horseshoes.
The seal reflects Aspen’s dual spirit since it is where mountain mysticism meets cultural sophistication, said Foundrae, and the horseshoes honor the town’s Western heritage.
A full range of Foundrae’s medallions, chains, rings, and bracelets are available at the location as well as the new “Aspen” medallion featuring 18-karat yellow gold and diamonds.
The medallion retails for $5,500 and is available exclusively at the Aspen location.
The Aspen store opened on Jan. 13.
Foundrae is in a period of thoughtful expansion rooted in place, storytelling, and design, it said, having opened its Palm Beach location in October.
The Aspen store is Foundrae’s eighth location, joining its six stores in Dallas, Miami, Los Angeles, and New York City as well as a space within Liberty London’s jewelry department.
