For Future Reference Vintage Enters Bloomingdale’s
The company’s curation of unsigned vintage and estate jewelry debuted at the Bloomingdale’s in Costa Mesa, California.

Its curated collection of 39 pieces is now available at the South Coast Plaza Bloomingdale’s in Costa Mesa, California.
For Future Reference Vintage can be found on the first floor in the main fine jewelry salon.
The assortment features bold gold and pieces featuring large-scale gems in its showcase of unsigned statement pieces made between the 1940s to 1980s and some one-of-a-kind finds from the Victoria, Edwardian, and Art Deco eras.
“At Bloomingdale’s, we are always searching for fresh ways to curate the unexpected—those truly one-of-a-kind pieces that resonate with our fine jewelry clients,” said Jon Kaise, vice president and divisional merchandise manager for jewelry and watches at Bloomingdale's.
“Our partnership with For Future Reference Vintage offers an incredible opportunity to present a selection of unique pieces across price points, decades, and silhouettes, only available at Bloomingdale's. There are so many wonderful stories to tell through vintage jewelry, and no one has a more discerning eye for discovering these exceptional finds than For Future Reference.”
For Future Reference founder Randi Molofsky launched the offshoot of her company in 2024.
As an industry tastemaker with more than two decades of experience launching and growing contemporary fine jewelry brands, she is also a vintage devotee with a personal collection of period jewelry and timepieces that served as the foundation of For Future Reference Vintage.
It began as a years-long relationship between Molofsky and Excalibur, a Los Angeles-based supplier of fine, collectible estate jewelry and watches.
The For Future Reference Vintage collection is a curation of unique heirlooms sourced from Excalibur’s archives.
The selection curated for Bloomingdale’s includes cocktail rings, button earrings, collar necklaces, and more. The pieces retail from $1,200 to $40,000.
“Bloomingdale’s is a dream brick-and-mortar location for us,” said Molofsky.
“The brand’s emphasis on distinctive products and passionate focus on customer service means that these special one-of-a-kinds are in great hands. We believe these statement pieces will find wonderful new homes with the collectors at South Coast Plaza.”
For Future Reference Vintage jewels are also available at Twist in Seattle and Portland, Oregon; Department Nashville in Nashville; Louis Anthony in Pittsburgh; and Ylang Ylang in St. Louis. It has previously showcased at Bergdorf Goodman in New York.
The brand will soon be available at Los Angeles boutique Last Resort.
“The fabulous thing about vintage is it’s all one-of-a-kinds, so each store is really able to have a unique selection that we curate specifically for their customer and market,” said Molofsky.
“We have some exciting upcoming partnerships in the works.”
