M.S. Rau to Open Store in Aspen
The New Orleans jeweler is also hosting pop-up jewelry boutiques in New York City and Dallas.

The 113-year-old retailer will open a new space in the Aspen Block Building at 307 S. Galena St. in January 2026.
This permanent space follows the jeweler’s seasonal pop-up in the Colorado city, which was open from June through September at another location in Aspen.
The new store’s opening will mark the first time the jeweler has had a permanent, year-round secondary location.
“Thanks to our long history in the area, and the success we had last year when we debuted our pop-up in downtown Aspen for the season, we decided to open a second location,” said Andrew Fields, president of M.S. Rau and an Aspen resident.
“We knew that we wanted to be a permanent fixture in the community, as Aspen has a thriving art scene and attracts discerning collectors from around the globe throughout the year.”
M.S. Rau Aspen will host special on-site events and exhibitions to connect with the surrounding community.
The two-level gallery will span more than 2,200 square feet, occupying the street and lower levels of a Victorian building.
The store is located within Aspen’s Commercial Core zone district, a shopping and dining destination with neighbors that include Prada, Paradise Bakery, and Rag & Bone.
Like M.S. Rau’s location in New Orleans’ French Quarter, the new location will carry jewelry, antiques, fine art, and objets d’art.
Jewelry by Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels, Fabergé, and Cartier will be showcased alongside works by Renoir, Picasso, and Magritte.
M.S. Rau also will have a presence in New York City and Dallas this holiday season.
For the month of December, M.S. Rau is hosting pop-up jewelry boutiques at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City and at the Neiman Marcus store at NorthPark Center in Dallas.
“For the first time in our 113-year history, M.S. Rau will be in department stores, beginning with Saks Fifth Avenue in New York and Neiman Marcus in Dallas,” said Bill Rau, third-generation owner and CEO of M.S. Rau.
“Seeing our treasures in person creates a sense of magic that photographs and videos simply cannot capture. This moment marks an exciting chapter for us and allows us to meet new collectors who share our appreciation for the exceptional.”
