The 1916 Company Taking Pre-Owned Rolexes on the Road, Again
The retailer is bringing Rolex Certified Pre-Owned watches to five U.S. cities in 2026 for collectors to see, try on, and purchase.

Following its inaugural five-city tour last year, the 2026 edition started with bridge stops in Denver and Scottsdale, Arizona, earlier this year.
Upcoming stops are Newport Beach, California (June 4-6); Ardmore, Pennsylvania (June 18-20); Manhattan Beach, California (Aug. 6-8); Baltimore (Nov. 5-7); and Philadelphia (Nov. 19-21).
In each city, the company will present more than 200 Rolex Certified Pre-Owned watches spanning decades of production, including historic references, distinctive stone and lacquer dials, neo-vintage pieces from the 1980s and ‘90s, gem-set configurations, and current models.
Guests are invited to see, try on, and purchase the watches.
The company said it will offer guided walkthroughs of the collection at each stop, as well as informal “Collecting Conversations” at 2 p.m.
There will be open-house hours for visitors, and private appointments will be available.
Rolex announced it would begin certifying pre-owned watches and allowing its authorized retailers to sell them in late 2022.
The 1916 Company became a partner in late 2023, a few months after Rolex announced the official U.S. rollout of the program.
Watches must be at least three years old to be certified and circulated back into the market, with individual retailers—not Rolex—setting the prices on the secondhand market.
Each watch in the Coast to Coast Roadshow collection carries the RCPO seal, meaning it has passed Rolex’s full evaluation, service, and authentication process, and is accompanied by a two-year international guarantee, The 1916 Company said.
“The Coast to Coast Roadshow began as a way to bring our Rolex Certified Pre-Owned collection directly to collectors across the country,” The 1916 Company CEO John Shmerler said.
“For those who attended in 2025, this is the next chapter. And for those coming for the first time, it’s the right entry point. At each stop, we’re assembling a selection that captures the full spectrum of Rolex timepieces through the years, giving collectors and first-time buyers alike the time and access to engage seriously—with the watches, our team, and our Collector’s Circle, The 1916 Company’s collector community.”
