The Wishing Place by JTV Opens
The jewelry retail broadcast network has sponsored a new space for Make-A-Wish East Tennessee on its campus in Knoxville.
The Wishing Place is a welcoming destination where children with critical illnesses can discover, plan, and celebrate their wishes, while families connect with staff and volunteers.
Knoxville, Tenn.—Jewelry Television (JTV), a national jewelry retail broadcast network based in East Tennessee, has helped its local Make-A-Wish chapter open a new wish-planning space.
The Wishing Place is located on the JTV campus at 190 Hayfield Road in Knoxville, Tennessee.
In addition to providing office space for Make-A-Wish East Tennessee, it will support wish-planning sessions, wish reveals, family gatherings, volunteer events, donor visits, and opportunities to share the stories of wishes granted in East Tennessee.
“The Wishing Place gives hope a home in East Tennessee,” said Garrett Wagley, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish East Tennessee.
“This space will allow children to wish out loud, families to feel welcomed and supported, and our community to see the power of a wish up close.”

Inside the Wishing Place is the Level Up Lounge, a welcoming space designed for teenagers to relax, discuss their wishes, and enjoy time together. It is supported by community sponsors Adam and Angela Brown.
First Horizon Bank has sponsored the Wish Family VIP Parking, reserved spaces that welcome wish families and demonstrate their celebrity status at The Wishing Place.
Sponsored by internet service provider Brightspeed, The Brightspeed Road to Wishes Fund will help families with the cost of traveling to The Wishing Place from communities across East Tennessee, while the Brightspeed Wish Story Studio will give wish families a dedicated space to capture and share their stories.
Friendship Auto is supporting the Puplick Relations Corner, a playful area celebrating the comfort and joy that dogs—like Duchess, the chapter’s Puplick Relations Intern—bring to wish families.
“We are deeply grateful to JTV and every sponsor who is helping to bring this vision to life. Their generosity will help us create more joyful, personal, and memorable wish journeys for children across the 36 counties we serve,” said Wagner.
JTV established a national partnership with Make-A-Wish in April.
The network will support the foundation through a series of “Give More Save More” fundraising events and customer engagement opportunities throughout the year.
“JTV is honored to help provide a home for The Wishing Place and to stand alongside Make-A-Wish East Tennessee in serving local children and families,” said Tolly Harris, executive vice president of JTV.
“We believe deeply in the power of community and in creating moments of hope and joy. Having the Make-A-Wish East Tennessee team on our campus gives our employees an even closer connection to this extraordinary mission, and we are excited to see the lasting impact this space will have across East Tennessee.”
A grand opening event, which included a ribbon cutting and reception, was held at The Wishing Place on Sept. 3.
During the event, JTV presented Make-A-Wish East Tennessee with two checks, one for $126,000 and a second for $202,270, according to local news.
Wagley said the checks were a product of JTV’s national and local partnerships with Make-A-Wish.
Make-A-Wish East Tennessee serves children with critical illnesses across a 36-county territory from Chattanooga to Bristol and Crossville to the Carolina border.
In its nearly 40 years, the chapter has granted close to 2,000 wishes.
It will grant 120 wishes in 2026, but more than 100 children are waiting for their wishes to come true.
