Buddha Mama, Ashley Longshore to Host Pop-Up in Dallas
The Miami-based jewelry brand and the NYC-based artist will be in Dallas from April 9-11.

The pop-up will be held April 9-11 at The Platform at Katy Trail in Turtle Creek, a neighborhood in uptown Dallas.
The Miami-based jewelry brand was founded by jewelry designer Nancy Badia who works alongside her daughter, Dakota Badia.
The brand will showcase a curation of its 20-karat gold and gemstone jewelry, including one-of-a-kind jewels, such as a watermelon tourmaline and diamond butterfly pendant inspired by a piece of Longshore’s artwork that Badia owns.
New York-based artist Longshore will display new and archived pieces. Her work features recurring themes of pop culture, feminism, American consumerism, and Hollywood.
The two women-owned brands share similar bold styles and whimsical takes on luxury, said the companies.
“Ashley’s bold use of color and her fantastical, unapologetic expression are what connects us to her as an artist and kindred spirit,” said Nancy. "We seem to all thrive, creatively, by bringing forth works that are whimsical and theatrical, and by creating pieces that evoke emotional responses from our audiences.”
Nancy said she and Longshore both share their hearts and souls through their work and were drawn to each other’s art before they met.
“Dakota and I are beyond excited to spend time with her during the pop-up in Dallas. This feels like a perfect pairing!”
Longshore said she’s excited for Dallas to meet one of her favorite jewelers.

"Their jewelry absolutely screams Dallas! This is going to be such a special time. I have loved not only Nancy’s jewelry, but Nancy herself, for so many years,” said Longshore.
“Her pieces hold her incredible, vibrant spirit. I believe in rewarding yourself with beautiful jewelry, and there is no better prize than Buddha Mama's exquisite craftsmanship. Dallas is going to love them—and more than just loving them, they need them. I want this entire month to feel artful and intimate, introducing Dallas to the creatives I love.”
Longshore previously collaborated with Harwell Godfrey on a limited-edition “Press for Champagne” ring.
Those interested in visiting the Dallas pop-up are encouraged to make an appointment to meet one-on-one with the Badias and Longshore.
