Tanishq Opens First New England Location
The store opening marks the 10th United States location for the India-based jewelry retailer.

The India-based jewelry retailer opened a new 4,000-square-foot showroom in Westborough, Massachusetts, marking its 10th U.S. location.
The location, which opened on Dec. 4, 2025, held its official launch celebration on March 6.
"Opening in Westborough marks an important milestone for Tanishq as we establish our presence in New England," said Amrit Pal Singh, head of business, North America, Titan Company Limited.
"Our 10th location in the United States reflects the growing appreciation for Indian craftsmanship, and we're excited to introduce Tanishq's heritage of gold artistry and contemporary design while continuing to expand across the U.S."
Tanishq is owned by The Tata Group, a Mumbai-based multinational conglomerate that also owns watch, jewelry, and eyewear brand Titan Company Limited, the parent company of Tanishq.
Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut are home to nearly 40,000 Indian households, said the retailer, which means the area has a strong demand for bridal, festive, and everyday fine jewelry.
The store’s opening gives customers in New England an alternative destination for Indian fine jewelry beyond the traditional Oak Tree Road market, a South Asian business hub in Edison, New Jersey, said Tanishq.
Tanishq also has a location in nearby Iselin, New Jersey’s “Little India” neighborhood.
The New England showroom offers more than 5,000 designs across its bridal collections, everyday pieces, and more, with an assortment that reflects regional preferences, said Tanishq.
This month’s grand opening celebration included a ceremonial ribbon cutting and a traditional lamp lighting, as well as a classical Bharatanatyam dance performance and a fashion showcase highlighting Tanishq's collections.
Community leaders and dignitaries shared their remarks as well. Among those in attendance were Raghuram S., consul general of India; Massachusetts State Senator Michael Moore; Westborough County Representative Mark S.; and Town Coordinator Laura Crawford.
The retailer has been strategically opening stores in areas with large Indian and South Asian populations, including Atlanta, Seattle, Houston, and Chicago.
