IDCA Elects New President, Board of Directors
Shekhar Shah of Real Gems Inc. will serve as president of the Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association in 2026.

During a board meeting held Dec. 2, the IDCA board unanimously elected several members.
Shekhar Shah of Real Gems Inc. will serve as president, succeeding Manoj Bhandari of RMC Gems Inc.
“The incoming board of directors and executive committee extend their sincere gratitude to Manoj Bhandari, retiring president for 2025, for his dedicated leadership and invaluable contributions to the association,” said IDCA.
Vishal Shah of Verigold Jewelry will take on the role of vice president.
Jay Mehta of Dison Gems Inc. was elected secretary with Ajay Javeri of Diamour Inc. serving as joint secretary.
Vishal Kotahwala of RIU Jewels Inc. is the new treasurer.
The following members were newly elected to serve as directors:
Amit Bardia of FC Creations Inc.;
Vaibhav Kothari of Diacentre Inc.;
Hemant Phophaliya of A G Color/A G Diajewels Inc.; and
Arya Sanghavi of Star Asia/Arya’s Collection.
The following directors will continue to serve on the board next year:
Vineet Bokaria of Niru NY Ltd.;
Yatish Dangayach of Color Jewels Inc.;
Parag Jain of Paramount Gems; and
Saumil Parikh of Renaissance Diamonds/American Originals.
IDCA also extended its gratitude to the board members who are retiring, including Shailesh Jhalani of Prompt Gem Importers Inc., Nimish Mehta of Atit Diamond Corp., and Kunal Shah of Pristine Gems Inc.
Founded in 1984, IDCA is a nonprofit organization that supports Indian members of the diamond and colored stone industry.
