Piece of the Week: Melissa Kaye’s ‘Rocky Infinity’ Necklace
The lariat necklace features a 4.88-carat oval-cut Zambian emerald in 18-karat yellow gold.

The one-of-a-kind necklace is made up of 18-karat yellow gold chain links.
The star of the piece is the 4.88-carat oval-cut Zambian emerald that drops from the Y-shaped chain and is set in a frame of gold.
Melissa Kaye, the founder and designer of her eponymous brand, said she was inspired by “the simple yet intricate structure of a knot,” when creating the motif seen in the piece’s chain and throughout her latest collection.
The Rocky Infinity necklace debuted in June and is part of Melissa Kaye’s “Rocky” collection.
“The collection includes various iterations of bespoke chains, including the ‘Infinity’ chain featured in this one-of-a-kind lariat. It has a three-dimensional, weighty feel and perfectly showcases an exceptional 4.88-carat oval-cut Zambian emerald,” said Kaye.
The Rocky Infinity necklace retails for $146,850.
It is available, along with the Rocky collection, on the Melissa Kaye website.
The necklace can also be purchased in-store at Bergdorf Goodman during Melissa Kaye’s trunk show.
The trunk show, which began on Nov. 1, will run through the end of November.
