AGA Now Accepting Applications for Its Gemological Education Scholarship
The application period for the program is now open for aspiring gemologists around the world.

The nonprofit created the program to support aspiring gemologists around the world.
It will award a scholarship of up to $5,000, based on the recipient’s financial need and academic merit.
The scholarship funds are to be used exclusively for tuition and lab fees and will be paid directly to the accredited gemological education provider.
AGA urges those pursuing a career in gemology and requiring financial assistance for their education to apply.
The finalists will be reviewed by the AGA educational scholarship and research grant committee.
Final selections will then be made by the AGA Board of Governors.
This is the second year that the scholarship program has returned after not being offered since 2019, as it was put on hold due to the pandemic.
Interested applicants must submit their applications by May 15 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
