Masked Group Uses Hammers, Pepper Spray in Texas Jewelry Store Robbery
Officials are looking for a group that robbed Marc Robinson Jewelers at an outlet mall in Round Rock, Texas, in broad daylight on April 21.

Shortly before 1 p.m. that afternoon, a group of individuals wearing masks and gloves entered the Marc Robinson Jewelers at Round Rock Premium Outlets, according to a press release from the Round Rock Police Department.
One of the suspects pepper-sprayed a store employee and a bystander, while others used hammers to break glass display cases and take jewelry, said officials.
There were eight suspects in total, according to video footage obtained by Austin news station KVUE.
The video footage shows a staff member appearing from a back room holding a handgun, prompting the group to exit the store.
Store owner Sherazad “Sunny” Lokhandwala told KVUE that the group, which appeared to know “exactly what they were looking for,” got away with millions of dollars’ worth of jewelry, including approximately 50 to 60 pre-owned Rolex watches.
They fled in a blue Hyundai Sonata that police later found abandoned at the 401 Teravista apartment complex nearby.
Police determined the vehicle was stolen out of Humble, a Houston metro area city roughly 175 miles east of Round Rock.
Police took the recovered vehicle for processing, and the case remains active.
Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact Detective Dwayne Riley at 512-218-6619.
