Mary Moses Kinney Is Now Part of The Edge’s Team
Kinney, who spent nearly 30 years at IJO, has been hired to head Abbott Jewelry Systems’ new virtual marketplace.

Abbott Jewelry Systems (AJS) President Dick Abbott announced that Kinney has joined The Edge’s team as virtual marketplace director.
The virtual marketplace, which is designed to enhance the product sourcing and ordering process for jewelers who use The Edge software, is a new initiative for AJS, and Kinney is the first to hold this position.
She will spearhead the development of the marketplace, enrolling vendors and collaborating with suppliers to create turnkey promotions and events that deliver value to both retailers and vendors, AJS said.
“I couldn’t think of a better candidate for this position,” Abbott said.
“Mary’s experience and passion for the industry make her a perfect fit for leading this initiative.”
Moses Kinney said she is “fortunate” to join The Edge/AJS in this new role.
“AJS is an exciting company known for being forward thinking, digitally focused, and technology passionate. I look forward to working with the exceptional AJS team to expand into new markets while continuing to deliver a high standard of customer service,” said Moses Kinney.
Fully integrated into The Edge Management System, the virtual marketplace was created to help retailers curate and maintain a high-performing product assortment.
According to AJS, key features of the marketplace include:
— Direct sourcing: retailers can source products within The Edge platform using integrated analytics to identify high-performing items;
— Seamless purchasing: purchase orders are generated directly in the software and sent electronically to participating vendors; and
— Error-free invoicing: digital invoices are received directly into The Edge inventory database, reducing manual errors, and saving time.
