Long's Jewelers Names New Director of Buying
Samantha Larson has joined the Boston-based retailer.

Larson will report to Cathy Cronin, senior vice president of retail and merchandising at Long's Jewelers.
Prior to joining Long’s Jewelers, Larson held the role of fine jewelry sourcing buyer for Borsheims.
She has held other senior-level positions earlier in her career, including director of gemstones at Stuller.
Larson also previously worked for the now-closed jewelry company McTeigue & McClelland, where, as executive director, she oversaw several functions including procurement, visual merchandising, wholesale operations, and sales.
“We are thrilled and fortunate to have Samantha join our team,” said Long’s Jewelers President Craig Rottenberg.
Craig and his brother Judd Rottenberg, who is principal at Long’s, were inducted into this year’s National Jeweler Retailer Hall of Fame.
In their feature interview, they noted their current focus on establishing a solid team to support the company’s swift growth.
“As our business has grown in recent years, we have purposefully and successfully added some amazing people to our leadership team. We are confident Sam will help us to accelerate that growth as we look to the future,” Craig said.
“2024 has been a historic year for us at Long’s,” he added. “The Boston market continues to shine, and we are looking forward to raising the bar even further for our valued clients in 2025 and beyond.”
The family-run Long’s Jewelers has six retail locations throughout New England.
Its portfolio includes four multi-brand stores in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, as well as a standalone Rolex boutique and a two-story boutique with a Patek Philippe showroom, both on Newbury Street.
