Leigh Maxwell Celebrates 5 Years at Couture With ‘Bauble’ Collection

The eight one-of-a-kind rings and earrings highlight the “juiciest pieces” the brand has created to date, including our Piece of the Week, the “Bauble” earrings.
The earrings center on 7.72 carats of rose zircons surrounded by 1.21 carats of diamond pavé in 18-karat yellow gold with a satin finish.
Founder and designer Jennifer Maxwell said she created the capsule as a nod to where her brand started and how it has evolved as a celebration of growth, discovery, and having fun with color in a refined, wearable way.
“Pavé has been part of the collection since day one, so it felt natural to bring that into this collection. Over the years, I’ve discovered so much about less common gemstones and wanted to highlight some of my personal favorites—stones that feel a little less expected,” she said.
“While my designs have always been rooted in simplicity, this collection builds on that idea with pieces that still feel clean and effortless, but a bit more elevated and expressive.”
With colored gemstones at the center of the capsule, it also features mocha zircon, tanzanite, aquamarine, green tourmaline, and Malaya garnet.
“I chose this color palette to create a balance that is soft and warm yet showed some vibrancy,” said Maxwell.
She said she’s always been drawn to gemstones like aquamarine and tanzanite but recently she’s developed a love for mint tourmaline that lends cool tones to the collection while the warm tones—from the rose zircon, Malaya garnet, and mocha zircon—add depth and richness.
“Together, these stones create a palette that feels modern yet romantic, and effortlessly wearable,” said Maxwell.
The Bauble collection retails from $21,000 to $35,000, with our Piece of the Week retailing for $22,780.
It is slated to launch at Couture in Las Vegas next week.

Maxwell launched Leigh Maxwell in 2017 after discovering the captivating powers of jewelry while working as a physician specializing in international health. Four years later, she debuted her brand at Couture.
She would travel to provide health care to people living in small villages in Africa, Haiti, and Cambodia, where she would purchase jewelry from local artisans to commemorate her experiences and establish a connection with a country and its people.
After designing her first piece, she went on to apprentice with jewelry stores in her hometown of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Leigh Maxwell pieces are produced in the brand’s Cedar Rapids studio and in downtown Los Angeles. Like the Bauble collection, they center hand-selected gemstones set in its signature satin-finished 18-karat yellow gold.
Maxwell, a survivor of three heart attacks, supports the American Heart Association (AHA)—which she is an ambassador of—and the Cedar Rapids Go Red Heart Health Lunch, as well as Gem Legacy and the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
From her fundraising efforts through her “Heart” string bracelet last month, she raised more than $63,000 for AHA, becoming the top campaign in the state of Iowa and the 18th in the country.
