Buddha Mama to Spend the Summer in Aspen
The Miami-based fine jewelry brand will host its first summer residency in the Colorado mountain town from June 5 to Aug. 23.

Titled “The Mountain Residency,” it will be located at 400 E. Hyman Ave. Suite A201, a suite space in the heart of downtown Aspen, an upscale area with luxury retail stores, art galleries, and high-end dining.
The residency will give locals and long-time clients a chance to view Buddha Mama’s collection and connect with founders Nancy and Dakota Badia.
“Aspen has become our second home,” said the Badias in a joint statement.
“We’ve been coming for over 25 years, so it just made sense to create a Buddha Mama residency this summer. We’re excited to share our collection with the community and look forward to having a lot of fun with everyone for the 2026 summer season.”
To celebrate the residency, Buddha Mama will debut a capsule collection created for the Aspen market.
The “Aspen” capsule collection, which has been three years in the making, is part of the brand’s larger “Travel Trinkets” collection.
While there are currently 20 pieces in the capsule, a standout is the “Maroon Bells Mountain” pendant.
It uses brightly colored enamel with diamond and sapphire accents set in 20-karat yellow gold to depict a landscape that includes Maroon Bells, the two iconic peaks located 10 miles from Aspen, and the flowers that grow in the area.
The picturesque location is one of the most impactful influences for the capsule, the brand said.
Other pieces in the capsule emphasize the whimsy in the ongoing western trend, which was seen at Couture last week.
Motifs of horseshoes, cowgirl hats, and cowgirl boots are seen, alongside butterflies and florals.
The collection, made in 20-karat yellow gold, features green tourmaline, aquamarine, tsavorite, diamond, and carved Sleeping Beauty turquoise.
Enamel is also used in shades of blue green, pink, yellow, periwinkle, and camel.
The Aspen capsule from the Travel Trinket collection retails from $10,000 to $150,000.
It debuted at Couture and will be available in-store at Buddha Mama’s Aspen residency.
The capsule is set to expand, with more pieces slated to debut in July.
Also during The Mountain Residency, fine artist and friend of the brand Ashley Longshore will join Buddha Mama from June 19-24, as part of the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen.
She will debut a collection of works created exclusively for Aspen, as well as a curated selection of her iconic pieces that explore her reoccurring themes of pop culture, feminism, American consumerism, and Hollywood.
