Smiling Rocks’ ‘Wish Jar’ Generates 100+ Wishes in Las Vegas
At the JCK show, the lab-grown diamond brand teamed up with Jewelers for Children to support Make-A-Wish India.

The lab-grown diamond brand had a “Wish Jar” at its booth that contained the top 30 wishes that children have submitted to Make-A-Wish India over the past 30 years, desires like “I want a guitar.”
Show attendees who entered the booth were invited to pick a wish from the jar, sign their name, and add a short message, as a way of participating in the granting of it.
Smiling Rocks pledged to donate enough money to grant all the wishes drawn from the jar, announcing this week that the wish count totaled 135.
The money will be directed to Jewelers for Children for distribution to Make-A-Wish India, one of its charity partners.
“Every year, Smiling Rocks is excited to be a part of a positive change, and it is even exciting to see that happen together with the support of our retailers and visitors at the JCK Show,” Smiling Rocks co-founder and CEO Zulu Ghevriya said.
“This initiative has a soft spot in my heart. I love to see how one wish can bring smiles and fulfillment to children’s faces, especially the ones in need of our support. We are proud to partner with Jewelers for Children to bring this initiative to life.”
JFC Executive Director Sara Murphy said, “Jewelers for Children is so proud of our partnership with the incredibly kind team at Smiling Rocks. A wish is an important moment of dignity and hope for a critically ill child, and Zulu and the rest of the team intrinsically understood the importance of making that commitment to kids who need us.
“All of the retailers who shared the journey and wrote kind messages are a part of making a difference for those children and their families and are a prime example of just how compassionate this industry really is.”
