2 Suspects Arrested in Texas Jewelry Store Robbery

Round Rock, Texas—The Round Rock Police Department has arrested two suspects in connection with a jewelry store robbery that occurred in April.
The men are believed to be part of the group of several masked suspects that robbed Marc Robinson Jewelers, located in the Round Rock Premium Outlets.
Detectives arrested Jalen Javon Davis, 24, and Leslie La Vun Jones II, 25, who are both from Houston.
On the afternoon of April 21, a group of individuals wearing masks and gloves entered the Marc Robinson Jewelers store.
One of the suspects pepper-sprayed a store employee and a bystander, while the others used hammers to break glass display cases and take jewelry.
Video footage obtained by Austin news station KVUE shows a staff member appearing from a back room holding a handgun, causing the group to flee the store.
There were eight suspects in total, according to the video footage.
Officials said the investigation remains active and additional arrests are expected.
