Citizen, Vera Wang to Launch Watch Collection
The 24-piece watch collection is set to debut in spring 2027.

The 24-piece designer watch line is set to debut next spring, combining Wang’s fashion expertise with Citizen’s craftsmanship.
"At Citizen, innovation has always been about more than technology—it's about how technology empowers design," said Jeffrey Cohen, president of Citizen Watch America.
"Partnering with Vera Wang, one of the most iconic female designers, was a rare opportunity. This wasn't a licensing relationship; we collaborated side by side.”
Wang's vision of how women wear watches helped to guide the process, said Cohen.
“The result is a collection that resonates with our long-time fans and a new generation of women seeking style, sophistication, and performance,” said Cohen.
Wang was hands-on throughout the process, said Citizen, from the concept to the materials used and the case architecture.
"My decision to partner with Citizen was deeply intentional," said Wang.
"With more than 100 years of watchmaking expertise, they bring a level of technical innovation and craftsmanship that's rare in the industry. Their ability to execute at scale without compromising artistry allowed us to explore new silhouettes and reimagine how time can be worn for women who define their own style."
The fashion icon’s partnership with Citizen follows her longstanding jewelry partnership with Signet Jewelers-owned banner Jared.
The “Vera Wang for Citizen” collection blends horology and jewelry, it said, featuring ready-to-wear styles for men and women, as well as jewelry-inspired pieces.
Each timepiece is powered by Citizen's proprietary Eco-Drive technology, which uses natural or artificial light to power the watch. The technology is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
Citizen has not yet revealed any details about what the watches will look like.
The collaboration reflects Citizen’s investment in expanding its women’s watch business, one of the fastest-growing segments in the global watch market, it said.
The company has recently released new collections with women in mind, including the “Rainell” and “Fio” lines.
The Vera Wang for Citizen collection will debut in spring 2027 and will be available on the Citizen website and at select retailers.
