24 Karat Club of New York’s Banquet to Return to Waldorf Astoria
The reopening of the Waldorf Astoria means a homecoming for the industry group’s annual event, which will take place Saturday.

The historic hotel, located on Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, opened back up to the public in July after being closed for eight years for renovations.
The club, which was founded more than a century ago, holds a unique and historic connection to the venue.
Its reopening marks a homecoming for the banquet, which had been the longest-running, New York-based event to host its annual celebration at the Waldorf Astoria consecutively until the restoration began in 2017, the club said.
“The Waldorf Astoria has always been more than just a venue for us—it has been the home of our banquet, a symbol of the sophistication and tradition that define The 24 Karat Club,” said Jeffrey Cohen, chair of the 24 Karat Club of New York.
“To return to its reimagined halls is both an honor and a celebration of our shared history.”
The banquet, an invitation-only event, is set for Saturday.
The event’s return to the hotel, which boasts enhancements such as restored Art Deco interiors and refined luxury accommodations, will offer attendees an “unforgettable experience blending tradition with modern sophistication,” the club said.
