Informa Markets, IEG Partner on New Jewelry Trade Show
“Jewellery, Gem & Technology Dubai” will debut in February 2022.

Informa Markets Jewellery, the group behind Jewellery & Gem World Hong Kong, and the Italian Exhibition Group, organizer of Vicenzaoro, will introduce Jewellery, Gem & Technology Dubai next year.
Called JGT Dubai for short, the three-day jewelry buying event will happen February 22-24, 2022, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Senior Vice President of Informa Markets in Asia, David Bondi, said in a press release: “As the jewelry sector’s leading trade show organizer, Informa Markets Jewellery is heeding the industry’s call as a strategic partner.
“Our industry is undergoing a significant transformation, and it is up to us to create and embrace new opportunities that will shape the long-term path for our industry.”
The organizations said they would combine their resources, expertise, and client base to produce JGT Dubai, noting the city is a seven-hour flight or less from four billion of the world’s population, an ideal hub for wholesalers, retailers, and manufacturers from the Middle East, India, Russia, Southern Europe, and North Africa.
IEG CEO Corrado Peraboni said, “Our jewelry sourcing events in core markets around the world—be it in Europe, North America or the Middle East—highlight the true scale of our reach as an industry partner. In February 2022, expect us to bring our global experience and local expertise to bear in delivering one of the industry’s premier meeting points.”
The show will feature manufacturers, designers, gemstone, and industry-related technology.
It will also present seminars and a networking program, as well as Informa Markets Jewellery’s Jewellery World Awards Dubai presentation.
JGT Dubai has officially partnered with Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), which will also organize the Dubai Diamond Conference in conjunction with the event.
DMCC Executive Chairman and CEO, as well as Chairman of the Dubai Diamond Exchange, Ahmed Bin Sulayem, explained why Dubai fits well on the jewelry trade show calendar.
