New York--Danish jewelry brand Endless has launched its second concept store worldwide, opening a new location in Taipei, Taiwan last week.
To celebrate its launch, Endless hosted a grand opening event that included a speech from Endless founder Jesper Nielsen, on-stage interviews with local celebrities, and a fashion show displaying the brand’s jewelry.
Endless will continue to open more stores throughout the country, with the long-term plan of eventually having at least 15 stores in major cities across Taiwan.
Michael Thomsen, CEO of Endless Jewelry Greater China Region, said he anticipates they will reach $5 million in sales in the region within the first year, which will primarily come from the Taipei store since there will be no further openings in the short term.
The move into Taiwan marks the brand’s 23rd international market in just two years after its launch, and the brand now is available in more than 3,500 stores on four continents.
Endless just opened its first concept store in a shopping center in Tallinn, Estonia, a small, prosperous country in northern Europe. The store is owned and operated by a partner that distributes and carries the Endless brand across Estonia.
Nielsen told National Jeweler at the time of that store’s opening that they most likely will open one to two partner-operated standalone stores in the United States within the next 12 to 18 months to help increase awareness of the brand.
He added that the brand currently has no plans to open Endless-owned stores, instead increasing its presence via targeted retailers and supporting their sales, marketing, events and in-store activities.
