JA to Hold Second Annual National Convention in 2020
It will take place July 26-28 in New York, and the theme will be “2020: Envision.”

New York—Jewelers of America announced Tuesday it is bringing back its National Convention in 2020 after receiving positive feedback about its inaugural event this year.
The second annual JA National Convention is scheduled for Sunday, July 26 through Tuesday, July 28.
It is again taking place in New York at the Intercontinental New York Barclay on 48th Street and Lexington Avenue.
Sunday will include the welcome party and Designer Preview event, where participating jewelry designers wear and display their pieces for attendees.
The keynotes and education seminars then will take place during the day Monday and Tuesday.
The theme for the convention is “2020: Envision,” designed to include discussions that look to the future of jewelry retail.
JA also will bring back the Diamond Detection and Retail Innovation labs from 2019.
“We were thrilled by the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received following our inaugural National Convention last year,” JA President and CEO David J. Bonaparte said in a press release.
“Our team is hard at work developing a program that will help jewelry businesses successfully grow in 2020. Our membership is diverse and yet they share many of the same business challenges. Through the National Convention, we are striving to provide solutions to those challenges in a variety of ways from education and interactive labs to networking and idea exchanges.”
