Registration Open for Third Jewelry Industry Summit
The sustainability conference will take place in Tucson on Feb. 2-3.
Tucson, Ariz.—The Jewelry Industry Summit has announced that registration is now open for its third annual event.
The summit is taking place Feb. 2 and 3 at the Tucson Convention Center, immediately ahead of the AGTA GemFair jewelry trade show (Feb. 5-10).
The theme of this year’s summit is “Pathways to Sustainability.”
Speakers and interactive programs will focus on highlighting what every sector of the industry can do now to sustain responsible sourcing through their companies. The programming promises to provide practical tools and resources.
“We look forward to another exciting and engaging session in Tucson,” JIS Board Chair Cecilia Gardner said in a press release.
“We are especially interested in attracting young and emerging jewelers to our community. The program will allow attendees to engage immediately in some form of action to improve our supply chain. Sustaining our business partners from mine to retail is a central driver of our organization, and we are grateful to our sponsors who make this event possible.”
Registration is $275, though many discounts are available, including for those who register before Dec. 31, are students, under the age of 25, or members of leading trade associations.
Sponsors of the third annual summit include AGTA, PGI, GIA and David Yurman. Hotel reservations can be made through the AGTA registration site.
