New Horizons Jewelry Show Cancelled
The event, which was scheduled to take place in Columbus, Ohio later this month, failed to garner enough interest.

Green Oaks, Ill.--New Horizons Events announced it has cancelled the inaugural New Horizons Jewelry Show scheduled for later this month in Columbus, Ohio, due to a lack of interest.
The show was slated to run Aug. 20 and 21 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
The Edge Seminar scheduled for Aug. 19, the day before the show was supposed to start, still is being held at the Hilton Downtown. All other conferences have been canceled.
For more information on the Edge Seminar, call 203-567-1489.
When the show, which was designed to serve jewelers in the Midwest, was announced this spring, Show Director Jim Reed said following the first show in Columbus, New Horizons would move to Schaumburg, Illinois, in September 2018.
Reed confirmed to National Jeweler Wednesday morning that they would not be holding that show either.
“We were unable to garner enough interest and variety of outstanding manufacturers to provide retailers with a unique opportunity to fulfill their purchasing needs,” he said. “At this time, we feel it is in the best interest of all parties not to continue with this event.”
