Gurhan's Collection is an 'Untamed' Zoo
The “Untamed” collection centers on carved gemstone jewelry depicting a range of animals embodying one of the four elemental forces.

Each animal, fashioned from gemstones and natural materials like ivory and set in a pendant, was made to represent one of the four elements.
Untamed brings together the raw power of fire, water, air, and earth, the New York City-based brand said, with animal jewelry that speaks to one’s deepest self.
“The elements are expressed through the animals’ natural associations and symbolic meanings, creating a spiritual connection between the wearer and these primal forces,” said Gurhan Orhan, founder and designer of his eponymous brand.
The fire animals channel transformative energy and power. Orhan said this includes dragons with their legendary fire-breathing abilities, lions representing solar strength, and roosters that symbolize dawn and solar connection.
Water animals—fish, seahorses, swans, herons, and elements from the sea like shark teeth—embody flow and adaptability as a representation of water’s fluid grace.
Air animals are creatures that command the sky and represent liberation, such as birds, butterflies, owls, ravens, geese, and the mythical Pegasus.
When it comes to the earth element, the animals symbolizing grounding and stability are horses for earthbound strength, wolves as terrestrial predators, and human forms as earthly beings.
The more than 60 designs feature horses, butterflies, owls, ravens, geese, fish seahorses, dragons, lions, and more.
Each piece features hand-hammered 24-karat yellow gold and uses gemstones including turquoise, labradorite, aquamarine, carnelian, emerald, opal, and topaz, along with natural materials like mammoth ivory and shark teeth.
The Untamed collection retails from $2,870 to $26,520.
It debuted earlier this month as part of the brand’s “Four Elements” seasonal offering for fall 2025.
The collection is available on the Gurhan website.
