Jewelry Manufacturer Vibhor Acquires Alor
The California-based fine jewelry brand will retain its identity post-acquisition, with new collections launching next year.

The move marks Vibhor’s expansion into the global luxury market, it said, combining its craftsmanship and speedy delivery model with Alor’s “avant-garde elegance.”
The price of the acquisition was not disclosed.
Sandy and Jack Zemer founded Alor in San Diego, California, in 1979, naming the company after their sons, Tal and Ori. The brand is best known for its cable designs and for pairing stainless steel with 14-karat gold.
Alor’s San Diego office is set to close at the end of the month, and all of its operations will move to Vibhor’s corporate office, manufacturing, and distribution center in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
“Alor’s legacy of innovation and design excellence perfectly complements our vision,” Vibhor Chief Operations Officer Vibhor Dhadda said.
“Together, we’ll elevate our offerings and reach new heights in luxury retail.”
Alor will continue to operate as its own brand post-acquisition, and President Ori Zemer and Senior Vice President Marilyn Harrell will be in charge of its creative direction. Ori’s brother Tal Zemer, once the company’s co-president and general counsel, left the company a few years ago.
Vibhor will also be hiring additional employees for its New Jersey operations.
“Our partnership with Vibhor opens exciting possibilities,” Zemer said. “Customers can expect fresh collections, expanded reach, and the same design DNA they’ve always loved.”
New collections are set to launch in mid- to late 2026.
Alor, which has exhibited at Couture in recent years, is set to will instead exhibit side-by-side with Vibhor in a newly expanded space at JCK Luxury next year.
Manish and Neelu Dhadda founded Vibhor in 2000. The company is now led by the second generation, Vibhor.
The family-owned business runs its manufacturing and wholesale operations out of New Jersey, working with independent retailers via private label programs and custom projects.
In addition to the acquisition of Alor, Vibhor also recently announced the appointment of Jacqueline Grande Raffi as its senior vice president of commercial strategy.
The industry veteran has more than 16 years of leadership experience at Hearts On Fire and Mémoire, most recently serving as vice president of sales.
Prior to that, Grande Raffi was vice president of Long’s Jewelers and president of Shreve, Crump & Low. She was also a past executive committee board member for the Women’s Jewelry Association.
“Jackie’s appointment represents a transformative milestone for Vibhor,” Dhadda said.
“Her entrepreneurial mindset, deep industry knowledge, valuable relationships, and unwavering dedication to supporting and anticipating the needs of our customers will be essential in shaping the future of our company.”
Her appointment marks a new era for the company, it said, and highlights its dedication to innovation, fostering partnerships, and expanding its market reach.
Vibhor said its long-term goal is to elevate its profile in the United States and global markets.
In her new role, Grande Raffi will directly report to the COO and oversee strategic partnerships, product launches, and the implementation of innovations.
“Vibhor is deeply committed to supporting the retail success of its partners,” Grande Raffi said.
“I am excited to join a team that both manufactures in the U.S., offers substantial resources to our retail network, and highly values philanthropy. Vibhor is especially well-positioned to succeed amid the current industry dynamics, and I am honored to play a role in guiding the company and our partners toward profitable growth.”
