These earrings set with tourmaline and tanzanite are from “Vertical Landscapes,” one of Pomellato’s 2023 high jewelry collections.

Seeing a picture of that same piece of jewelry on somebody allows you to appreciate it.
Such was definitely the case with these tourmaline and tanzanite earrings from “Vertical Landscapes,” one of the four mini-collections of high jewelry Pomellato presented in Paris earlier this month.
The Italian brand used its home city as the inspiration for all four collections, with the pieces in Vertical Landscapes taking their forms from the many shapes in the Milan cityscape.
The emerald-cut colored gemstones are reserve-set in green titanium to create a sleek tile-like look.
While Giardini Verticali translates to “vertical gardens,” bringing to mind Milan’s famed Bosco Verticale, Pomellato said the color and setting of the stones, “create a spectacular mosaic of movement, color and texture, reminiscent of Gió Ponti’s building in Milan with its façade of glazed, green tiles.”
