A Webinar on Protecting Your Jewelry Store Is Coming Up
Jewelers of America and The Plumb Club will present “Protecting Your Jewelry Store—Essential Security Measures” on June 28 at 2 p.m. EDT.
New York—In light of the recent report about jewelry crime reaching an all-time high, three industry organizations are teaming up to provide crime prevention education.
This coming Wednesday, June 28, at 2 p.m. EDT, Jewelers of America, The Plumb Club and the Jewelers’ Security Alliance will present a webinar titled, “Protecting Your Jewelry Store—Essential Security Measures.”
The organizations will present the webinar as a dialogue between Regina Ciarleglio, JA’s director of membership, and JSA Vice President Scott Guginsky.
They will discuss how jewelers can assess vulnerabilities, implement security measures, educate employees on security protocols and recognizing suspicious behaviors, and establish relationships with local police and fellow jewelers.
Ciarleglio and Guginsky will discuss case studies and provide real-life examples to help jewelers learn from actual incidents that occurred in stores, and provide actionable tips to reduce risk and mitigate losses.
The webinar is free and open to the entire jewelry industry.
