167 New Titleholders Join the Ranks of AGS
The American Gem Society announced Tuesday the addition of 167 fully credentialed new titleholders, all of whom have completed the certification process required to earn their AGS titles.

Las Vegas--The American Gem Society announced Tuesday the addition of 167 fully credentialed new titleholders, all of whom have completed the certification process required to earn their AGS titles.
In addition, following completion of the organization’s annual recertification exam, AGS welcomes back more than 2,100 titleholders and 58 of its milestone titleholders, some of whom have been recertified for more than 30 years.
“Education is an important first step for so many people in the jewelry industry. It’s often also the stopping point in their professional development,” said AGS and AGS Laboratories CEO Ruth Batson. “The difference between an academic credential and a professional credential is an important distinction that sets AGS Titleholders apart from their peers.”
AGS titleholders will be recognized at the organization’s Titleholders Luncheon, scheduled to take place April 14 during the annual Conclave. The luncheon celebrates both new and milestone titleholders.
This year’s Conclave will take place in Washington, D.C. from Wednesday, April 13 to Saturday, April 16.
