Oh, Happy Day(s). The Fonz Will Keynote Conclave 2020
The event, scheduled for April 27 to 29 in Denver, is open for registration.

Las Vegas—Mark your calendars, “Happy Days” lovers. The Fonz is coming to AGS Conclave next year.
The American Gem Society has announced that actor, director and producer Henry Winkler will be the opening keynote speaker for its 2020 Conclave event, scheduled for April 27 to 29 in Denver.
Winkler is best known for his role as Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli in the “Happy Days” television sitcom that ran from 1974-1984. He also won an Emmy Award in 2018 for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in the HBO series “Barry.”
His presentations are designed to inspire and entertain through humorous anecdotes and inspirational life lessons about overcoming adversity during his career in television and entertainment, AGS said.
Two other speakers (pictured below) will join Winkler at Conclave next year: innovation expert Josh Linkner will be the keynote on April 28 and pilot Amelia Rose Earhart will be the closing keynote on April 29.
Linkner, a successful tech entrepreneur and CEO, will teach the audience how to innovate and disrupt to stay ahead of the competition and embrace chance.
Earhart is a private pilot. In 2014, she flew around the world on a 28,000-mile, 18-day global adventure in honor of her namesake (to whom she is, surprisingly, not related). She is also a reporter and television host in Denver, where she lives.
During her keynote, the pilot will teach the AGS community how to “create a flight plan for success” and achieve their goals.
Joel Zeff—motivator, public speaker, humorist and actor—will return as the event’s emcee in 2020.
In addition to the keynote speakers, Conclave also will feature breakout sessions on topics like sustainability, security, sales, marketing, gemology and financial management, among others.
Registration for Conclave 2020 is now open.
