Chandler, Bindra, Jones To Be Honored, SoCal Style
The 24 Karat Club of Southern California is honoring the three men at its annual gala in October.
Los Angeles—The Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California just revealed who it will be honoring at its 2019 gala, scheduled to take place in October in Beverly Hills.
Bill Jones, CEO of famed store Sissy’s Log Cabin, and Ruben Bindra, of B & B Fine Gems, are the club’s 2019 Excellence in Service honorees.
Bindra, meanwhile, started his jewelry business alongside wife Lavi in 1985, working out of their apartment. Today, B & B Fine Gems imports colored gemstones from around the world and has clientele in more than a dozen countries.
He is currently serving his second stint as American Gem Trade Association board president.
Receiving the 24 Karat Club of Southern California’s Lifetime Achievement Award is Diamond Council of America President and CEO Terry Chandler.
In addition to leading DCA, he is a member of the Jewelers Leadership Forum, serves on the board of the U.S. Jewelry Council, and is a member and past president of the 24 Karat Club Southeastern United States.
The Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California annual dinner, dance and gala is scheduled for Oct. 12 at the Montage Beverly Hills hotel. The event is black-tie optional.
