JSA Offering $2,500 Reward in Fatal Armed Robbery
Fresno, California police are looking for two suspects wanted in connection with the shooting of an employee during a robbery earlier this month.

Fresno, Calif.--The Jewelers Security Alliance is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest of two men wanted in connection with the murder of a California jewelry store employee.
Police are looking for Angelo Sanchez, 17, and Angel Morelos, 18, who allegedly shot a store employee during a robbery.
The incident occurred on Aug. 5 when six suspects pulled into the parking lot of Stereo DJ Outlet/Mari’s Jewelry in Fresno, California.
Three suspects went inside, grabbed jewelry and ran out of the store. Store owner Maricela Gamez and her son, 22-year-old Christopher Leon, pursued them. As Morelos was held down by the son, he pulled out a gun and shot Leon in the head.
Leon later died in the hospital from his injuries.
Three suspects already are in custody, according to the Fresno Police Department. The remaining suspect’s identity and whereabouts currently are unknown, as are the whereabouts of Morelos and Sanchez.
Anyone with information is asked to call JSA’s Reward Hotline at 800-325-1883. Callers who wish to remain anonymous can do so and still collect the reward.
In an alert sent to the trade Thursday, the JSA advised jewelers not to follow suspects out of the store after a crime, as they won’t know what accomplices or weapons they might face. Jewelers are instead advised to lock the door and call the police immediately.
