Providence, R.I.--The Cultured Pearl Association of America is in the midst of its second annual fundraising event, offering the chance to enter to win a trip to Tahiti to see the inner workings of a pearl farm.
Raffle tickets for the South Seas Adventure are being sold online now for $10 each. There are only 5,000 total tickets available. The winner will receive an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the French Polynesian island of Tahiti, home of the Tahitian black pearl.
The winning ticket will be drawn on Dec. 1. Each person that buys a ticket also will receive a souvenir ticket for framing.
Proceeds from ticket sales will directly benefit the CPAA’s initiatives promoting awareness and education of cultured pearls.
