Adam Neeley’s High Jewelry Collection Steps Into Salvador Dalí’s Garden

The “Dalí’s Garden” collection was inspired by a surreal dream Neeley had after cooking a recipe from Salvador Dalí’s 1973 cookbook.

For the high jewelry collection, Adam Neeley focused on the use of anodized titanium which is seen here in the “Eyris” ring crafted from blue and purple titanium and platinum with a 5.45-carat tsavorite garnet at the center accented by diamonds (all pieces are price upon request).
Paris—Adam Neeley unveiled his new high jewelry collection at PAD Paris, the home of the Surrealist movement.

The collection, “Dalí’s Garden,” was inspired by the world of surrealist artist Salvador Dalí and his wife Elena (Gala) Dalí who was a muse to the movement’s most important figures, according to The Collector.

During the pandemic, Neeley had been experimenting with recipes in Dalí’s 1973 cookbook “Les Diners de Gala.”

After one particularly delicious evening, he dreamed that he was invited by Salvador and Gala to a fantastical dinner party.

In this dream, Neeley was mesmerized by the couple’s enchanted, moonlit garden, where hauntingly beautiful and luminous flora and fauna emerged.

The Dalí’s Garden collection is not a direct homage to Dalí’s artwork, but an interpretation of Neeley’s surreal dream.

“Dalí’s Garden began as a lucid dream so vivid it felt real. Now, through these jewels, that dream has taken form,” said Neeley.

“Like Dalí, I am fascinated by the convergence of the conscious and unconscious, the space where imagination and intention meet to create something entirely new.”

Neeley also noted that during the years-long process to create this collection he often returned to that dreamscape which revealed new jewels for him to bring to life.

Take a Stroll Through the Dalí’s Garden Collection

The collection plays on the intersection of dreams and reality, where flora, fauna, and cosmic symbols turn into high jewelry, the brand said.

It features one-of-a-kind high jewelry pieces crafted with museum-quality gems in surreal compositions of color and light through the use of titanium, platinum, and gold.

Titanium is the material that ties the collection together as it has been anodized in shades from dusty rose bronze to ombrés of blue, violet, pink, and green to evoke the hues from Neeley’s dreams.

There are earrings, necklaces, rings, brooches, and an objet d’art in the Dalí’s Garden collection, which are all price upon request.

The “Granada” objet d’art is crafted from red titanium in the form of a pomegranate.

A slice has been removed to reveal a pair of earrings where garnets and AlbaGold—Neeley’s custom alloy—represent the pomegranate seeds.

The Dalí’s Garden collection debuted on April 8 at PAD Paris, which Neeley choose for the location’s history.

“Paris, as ground zero for the Surrealist movement, is the most fitting place for the full debut. To return there with this collection feels like bringing the dream back to its source, surrounded by the greatest voices in art and design,” said Neeley.

The collection is slated to travel to the United States for a series of private collectors’ events, including private appointments on May 8 and a soirée on May 9 at The Maybourne Beverly Hills in Southern California.

Visit the Adam Neeley website to RSVP for these events.

The collection will also be available for viewing by private appointment at the Adam Neeley atelier in Laguna Beach, California, and can be seen on the Adam Neeley website
