Boochier Turns Flower Friendship Bracelets Into Fine Jewelry
The “Flower Puff” collection looks to beaded flower friendship bracelets from childhood, turning the silhouette into nostalgic fine jewelry.

The collection celebrates the joyous spirit of youth and combines elegance with the whimsy of childhood through a central nostalgic motif of a puffy flower.
Founder and designer Melinda Zelman was inspired by the playful silhouettes of puffy florals that were once sketched in her notebooks and were at the center of beaded friendship bracelets.
The collection started as a single bracelet that was a custom project for a client who wanted to turn a tennis bracelet with Asscher-cut stones that she had in her safe for years into something more her style.
“The brief was that she wanted something fun, playful, joyful, and most importantly, something she could wear everyday,” explained Zelman.
“I knew my client loved flowers, but I didn’t want to make her something overly classic and feminine. So, inspired by childhood play and colorful plastic flower beaded bracelets we once strung together, the ‘Flower Puff’ bracelet came to be!”
The Flower Puff collection comprises 12 styles of bracelets, rings, pendants, charms, studs, and hoops in 18-karat yellow, white, or rose gold.
The bracelets in this collection reference the original design that sparked the entire collection, with one style available with Assher-cut stones and another matching the rest of the round-shaped offerings.
The bracelets also stand out with two-tone 18-karat gold options combining alternating flower motifs in white and yellow, rose and white, or yellow and rose gold.
A gemstone—including diamonds, emeralds, blue sapphires, and pink sapphires—is featured at the center of each puffy flower motif.
The pieces retail from $3,540 to $65,770.
The Flower Puff collection debuted at Paris Fashion Week and is available on the Boochier website.
