Jewelers Mutual’s ‘Conversations’ Retreat Returns to Discuss AI
The third edition will be held in Half Moon Bay, California, in April.

The 2026 event will take place April 10-12 at The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay, in Half Moon Bay, California.
The event will bring jewelry industry leaders together to discuss the future of the business, evolving customer expectations, innovation, and long-term industry resilience, said organizers.
This year’s theme will be “The Transformative Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Jewelry Industry,” with sessions exploring how AI is transforming customer engagement, operations, and growth strategies.
The conference agenda will again be curated by trends researcher Jeff Weiner.
As with past conferences, the featured speaker will provide a perspective from outside of the jewelry industry.
This year’s edition will feature Mike Cessario, founder and CEO of canned water brand Liquid Death.
Launched in 2019, the brand is now valued at an estimated $1.4 billion. Cessario will delve into how purpose-driven branding and innovation can fuel rapid growth while challenging industry norms, said organizers.
“The Conversations retreat was created to give industry leaders the opportunity to step back, think differently, and engage with peers in a meaningful way,” said Mike Alexander, president at Jewelers Mutual.
“The jewelry industry continues to evolve, and creating space for thoughtful dialogue and collaboration is essential to shaping what comes next.”
The retreat will also offer attendees optional excursions, including mountain biking, kayaking, horseback riding, and glass blowing.
