Piece of the Week: Kwit Jewelry’s Square Signet Pinky Ring
The red and azure colorway is one of many fun enamel pairings offered, bringing whimsy to the classic style of a monogramed signet ring.

This week, we look at another way that color is trending in jewelry—through the use of enamel.
Kwit’s square signet pinky ring takes the style of a classic monogramed signet ring and puts a modern spin on it with a variety of enamel colorways.
Our Piece of the Week showcases red and azure enamel over 14-karat yellow gold.
This is just one of eight enamel options for the piece, which redefines what neutral jewelry can be, said Kwit.
The brand’s founder and designer Karla Witukiewicz put these colorful enamel pairings together for her version of a signet ring, after having studied color theory.
When it comes to choosing colors, she said, “My eye is naturally drawn to what Mother Nature does—she does it best. I find inspiration in cooking, making flower arrangements, and making jewelry, and the farmers market drives it all.
“I’m constantly in awe of the vibrant colors in flowers, fruits, and vegetables—I touch them, pick the most beautiful ones, and let that process guide my color combinations.”
Witukiewicz added that sometimes she gives herself an objective to make the colorway feel sporty or whimsical, but she loves unexpected pairings and strives to create colorways that feel alive, harmonious, timeless, and always fresh.
While turquoise and maroon and the classic off-white and black colorways are the most popular color combinations, according to Kwit, even more options are set to debut.
For the holiday season, the brand is unveiling three seasonal colorways—“Bond Green Aura,” “Maroon Aura,” and “Midnight Blue Aura.”
These offerings add shimmer to the piece, alongside brilliant-cut diamonds tracing the initial, as seen on the “Spark” version of Kwit’s square signet pinky ring.
“In terms of my enamel colors, the idea is that bold can become neutral,” said Witukiewicz.
“Because I’ve worked so carefully with undertones, a color someone is instinctively drawn to typically compliments their natural palette, their wardrobe, and even their personality. In that sense, color becomes personal—what feels bold at first can become someone’s signature neutral.”
The square signet pinky ring in the red and azure enamel colorway retails for $3,695 and is available on the Kwit website.
The Spark square signet pinky ring with Maroon Aura enamel retails for $4,295 and is available here.
It is part of the “Aura” collection which will debut completely with the brand’s holiday offerings in November.
