Qurate Has a New Name
The parent company of HSN and QVC is undergoing a restructuring.

The company is now going by QVC Group, Inc.
The new name better highlights QVC, its largest brand, and supports the brand’s growth strategy as it aims to expand into a live social shopping company, it said.
It’s focusing on “video-driven commerce” across all devices, from smartphones and tablets to laptops and TVs, reaching shoppers through social platforms, streaming apps, e-commerce sites, and TV channels.
“This rebranding is an important milestone in our nearly 50-year evolution as a collection of leading retail brands,” said David Rawlinson II, president and CEO of QVC Group, Inc.
“From the beginning, we’ve been the innovators in live video shopping – first on cable TV, then on e-commerce and mobile. Now, once again, we’re reimagining our company to grow in new places by leaning into streaming and social.”
The company announced plans to realign its structure on Jan. 29, which includes closing HSN’s campus in St. Petersburg, Florida, and moving a portion of that team to QVC’s headquarters in Pennsylvania.
HSN’s Florida campus will close before the end of this year. Qurate said it expects HSN to start broadcasting live from Studio Park in West Chester, Pennsylvania, by its third quarter.
The company ranked No. 22 in this year’s State of the Majors “$100 Million Super Sellers” list by National Jeweler, reporting $304 million in watch and jewelry sales in North America in 2023.
