Cartier Opens New Store Inside LAX
The boutique is the French luxury brand’s first airport store on the West Coast.

The new store, located in the Tom Bradley International Terminal (Terminal B) of the Los Angeles Internation Airport (LAX), will offer a curated collection of Cartier’s signature jewelry, timepieces, fragrances, and leather goods.
“Having been home to Cartier for more than 50 years, the Los Angeles community has been—and continues to be—incredibly special to us. We look forward to welcoming guests from near and far into our beautiful new space at Cartier LAX,” said Walter Bolognino, president and CEO of Cartier North America.
The store’s interior design includes elements inspired by the city of Los Angeles and nods to the brand’s French heritage.
The storefront is adorned with champagne gold-colored panels with patterns reminiscent of the waves from California’s beaches.
This pattern continues from the exterior to the interior of the store, where the curated color palette of sandy neutrals, oceanic blues, and sunset shades inspired by the streets and beaches of LA takes over the space alongside the champagne tones the brand is known for.
A mural is the focal point of the store’s interior. It depicts a Cartier panther combined with elements from the architectural landscape of LA.
“The opening of the LAX boutique symbolizes our commitment to establishing a strong and balanced presence in key strategic airports worldwide,” said Virginie Martignac, global travel retail director at Cartier.
“As we celebrate this achievement, we look forward to our collaboration with DFS and LAX to shape the future and immerse luxury travelers in a unique experience that blends the creativity of Cartier with the vibrant essence of LA.”
The opening of this airport location is the latest move in Cartier’s global airport expansion initiative.
Since 2020, the brand has positioned itself inside key international airport locations across the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania.
The brand said its 24 stores in 19 major airports showcase Cartier’s commitment to developing a global airport network that connects luxury travelers with authentic and meaningful experiences at major airports around the world.
Cartier is also focused on ensuring its curated spaces express creativity and elegance while emphasizing sustainability to achieve LEED certification.
