Stephanie Gottlieb Brings Natural Diamonds to Studs
The 13-piece “Stephanie Gottlieb x Studs” collection is the piercing studio’s first fine jewelry offering to feature the gemstone.

The “Stephanie Gottlieb x Studs” collection is comprised of 13 earring styles, each made in 14-karat gold and featuring Gottlieb’s signature colorful designs combined with Studs’ signature motifs, such as hearts, rainbows, and diamond duos and trios.
“I was thrilled to translate some of my signature colorful and playful designs—like our iconic ‘Candy Button’ collection—into earrings that feel fresh, fun, and perfect for new piercings,” said Stephanie Gottlieb, founder of her namesake brand.
“Partnering with Studs allowed me to create pieces that are approachable for jewelry lovers of all ages.”

The collaboration began when Morgan P. Richardson, president of Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry, reached out to Studs about how the two brands could work together, as she had been seeking opportunities to reach new audiences at a different price point.
The brand chose a partnership with Studs because the two companies “share a similar passion for making jewelry more accessible and fun while staying true to quality and design,” said Gottlieb.
Meanwhile, Studs was looking for new opportunities to introduce more fine jewelry offerings.
It first offered a limited fine jewelry line with lab-grown diamonds in 2019, and earlier this year, it debuted the “Fancy Studs” collection, which featured pieces made with lab-grown diamonds and 14-karat gold.
The “Stephanie Gottlieb x Studs” collection features natural diamonds, gemstones and 14-karat gold in smaller-scale earrings that not only lower the price point, making them more accessible, but allows the wearer to style multiple pieces for a stacked ear look, or as Studs puts it, a curated earscape.
Each earring also features a flat-back design, one of the retailer’s most popular categories for newly pierced and already-pierced ears.
Flatback earrings are often chosen for, as the name suggests, the smooth, flat back of the design.
This style of earring is also more comfortable for wearers who have advanced piercing placements, said Studs, like a conch, tragus, or helix.
The posts and backs are made of PVD titanium, a material that Studs says is ideal for a new piercing.
The Stephanie Gottlieb x Studs collection retails for $295 to $650 for a single earring.
It launched Dec. 10 and is available at select Studs Studios nationwide and on the Studs website.
