Ethical Gem Fair Returns to Brooklyn
The event is slated for Oct. 17-19.

The trade-only event will be held Oct. 17-19 at metalsmithing studio and gallery Brooklyn Metal Works.
It’s organized by the Ethical Gem Suppliers, self-defined as a community of gemstone suppliers dedicated to fostering transparent supply chains that uplift artisanal mining and cutting communities worldwide.
Exhibitors at this year’s show include suppliers Anza Gems, Capricorn Gems, Columbia Gem House, Nature’s Geometry/Quore, Nineteen48, and Perpetuum Jewels.
The fair is designed to present jewelers, designers, retailers, and students with an opportunity to learn, network, and shop from a curated lineup of gem suppliers dedicated to ethical practices.
Education talks will take place daily at 2 p.m., moderated by Lauren Petrovic of Laurenti New York and host of the Responsible Luxury Podcast.
The sessions will cover responsible sourcing, the importance of transparency in the supply chain, and influential practices within the collective.
Anza Gems and Perpetuum Jewels will present on Oct. 17, followed by Capricorn Gems and Nature's Geometry/Quore on Oct. 18 and Columbia Gem House, and Nineteen48 on Oct. 19.
The event is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
