Pomellato Acquires Valenza Setting Lab
The Kering-owned brand bought VSL to reinforce its manufacturing capabilities.

Milan—Pomellato has acquired the recently established Valenza Setting Lab (VSL).
The Kering-owned brand purchased the lab to both reinforce is manufacturing capabilities in the diamond and precious stone sector, and to support the expansion of the company.
“This acquisition marks a significant step forward in Pomellato’s journey,” said Sabina Belli, CEO of Pomellato.
“The expertise of the VSL team in high-level stone setting will be invaluable in supporting our growth, especially in the thriving diamond and precious stone segment. We are excited about the opportunities that this new step in our development will provide.”
Marcello Monti and Gilberto Dentelli are the founders of Valenza Setting Lab, which is based in Valenza, Italy. Their team of 24 employees previously worked for MG Incassatura, also a Valenza-based company and a longtime partner of Pomellato.
This acquisition follows Pomellato’s purchase of a minority stake in Italian goldsmith company Costanzo & Rizzetto in 2022.
