JA New York Returns with New Designer Gallery
The jewelry trade show is taking place Aug. 14-16 at the Javits Center in New York City.

Slated for Sunday, Aug. 14 through Tuesday, Aug. 16, the jewelry trade show will take place at New York City’s Javits Center.
It marks a year since the show returned from pandemic cancellations.
Group Show Director for JA New York, Mark Lind, said, “We’re very much looking forward to bringing the industry together next week.
“Our robust roster of manufacturers, designers and brands provides a comprehensive product selection, and our easy-to-navigate show floor is organized to ensure that attendees can efficiently maximize the time they spend at our event.”
Not featured since before the pandemic, the summer show will provide a platform for emerging jewelry brands thanks to the return of its New Designer Gallery (NDG).
Created 45 years ago, the New Designer Gallery has been a steppingstone for brands including David Yurman, Paul Morelli, and Alex Sepkus.
This year, six brands will exhibit at the NDG. They are: JV Insardi, Kiersten Elizabeth, Nvr Nude, Isabel Alexander, Helannona, and Pracyious Jewels.
Attendees can visit specialty pavilions like the Lab-Grown pavilion with both loose stones and finished jewelry; the Collection pavilion, featuring top manufacturers; the Hong Kong pavilion; and NCA pavilion.
Jewelers of America is providing educational programming at the show aligning with the theme “Think Future.”
There are a total four sessions. On Sunday, Aug. 14 there will be a session on trends, as well as a session on attracting talent to the jewelry industry.
On Monday, Aug. 15 there will be a session on how technology can help the industry evolve, moderated by National Jeweler’s Lenore Fedow, as well as a panel featuring industry professionals included in JA’s 20 Under 40 group.
Co-located with the JA New York Summer Show at the Javits Center is home and gift trade show NY Now, scheduled for Aug. 14-17.
Jewelry trade show Melee, meanwhile, will take place Aug. 15-17 at The Lighthouse, Chelsea Pier 61.
