Sarine Expands Services to Include Diamond Grading
The company’s enhanced Sarine Profile report now features cut, clarity, color and carat weight as well as diamond verification.
Hod Hasharon, Israel--Sarine Technologies Ltd. has announced the expansion of its services.
The company has added 4Cs grading and diamond identification to its Sarine Profile Report.
The standard report provides information on the diamond’s light performance, hearts and arrows pattern and advanced 3-D diamond imaging.
But now there will be an option to include cut, clarity, color, carat weight and diamond verification.
Information about availability and pricing isn’t yet available. A company spokesperson told National Jeweler that they will release more details at the upcoming Hong Kong show.
Sarine is grading the diamonds using its automated Sarine Clarity and Sarine Color grading technologies, along with its DiaMension HD Cut grading and Sarine Light light performance grading.
Additionally, the enhanced 4Cs Sarine Profile report will have the option of including advanced synthetic diamond and treatment detection.
Combining all of these factors will allow the company to deliver a higher level of accurate, repeatable and automated diamond grading with less subjectivity and far fewer human errors, it said.
The enhanced reports will help retailers sell their diamonds with a technologically accurate digital report “geared towards the modern, internet-savvy and social media-oriented consumer,” as well as strengthen consumer confidence, Sarine said.
The company is closely collaborating with Swiss gem lab GGTL Laboratories, benefitting from its knowledge, experience, methods and equipment, to create the technology it is using for the reports.
“The days of dry, technical, non-intuitive diamond reports are coming to an end. Sarine’s new reports can provide consumers with a more reliable and coherent way to buy diamonds and diamond jewelry and can support the entire diamond pipeline with a new level of accuracy, objectivity and repeatability,” said CEO David Block.
“Our new services include the world's first automated measurement and grading of all the 4Cs and light performance, diamond verification, interactive digital reports, and a host of revolutionary new approaches to gemological research that add layer upon layer of depth and power to the diamond story. By providing added value to the manufacturing, wholesale and retail sales processes for diamonds and jewelry, the ground-breaking Sarine Profile service enhances its already new, exciting and effective way for consumers to engage with diamonds and jewelry throughout the purchase process.”
Based in Israel, Sarine Technologies Ltd. develops, makes and sells technologically advanced equipment for the planning, processing, evaluation and measurement of diamonds and gems.
The company is listed on the Singapore Exchange Mainboard.
