Auction House Partnering with eBay for Fine Jewelry Sale
Those who can’t attend Doyle New York’s Feb. 24 auction of fine jewelry and watches can bid live online at eBay.com.

New York--A fine jewelry and watch auction is happening live on eBay next week, offering pieces from brands including Tiffany & Co., Patek Philippe and Cartier.
The eBay auction is an extension of Doyle New York’s Feb. 24 sale of Fine Jewelry at its location on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
EBay partners with auction houses such as Doyle to help extend the reach of particular sales and draw in buyers who might be interested but are unable to attend the auction in person or over the phone.
The Doyle Fine Jewelry auction on eBay includes more than 800 lots and will open the same day as the physical sale, Feb. 24, at 7 a.m. Registration for online bidding can be found on the eBay website.
After registering, participants can join the live auction to bid, or leave absentee bids before the sale starts. Once live, each item is only for sale for about two minutes, so bidders need to act quickly if there’s an item they want, eBay said in its live auction “about page.”
The online auction will last as long as it takes to sell through the lots, and those who win a bid will receive an invoice for the order (details on this, as well as shipping and guarantees, also can be found on the eBay website.)
